Singapore, known for its vibrant culinary scene, is set to welcome a new gem into its gastronomic landscape. On August 30, 2023, Noa Lounge will throw open its doors to patrons eager to embark on a culinary journey through the Mediterranean. Located on the ground floor of Mondrian Singapore Duxton, Noa Lounge promises to be a captivating addition to the city’s dining experiences.

Crafted by culinary connoisseurs

Behind the scenes at Noa Lounge is the esteemed BARMUTEARY F&B Group, renowned for its multiple award-winning establishments, including Olivia Restaurant & Lounge and Queic pastry shop. The culinary genius at the helm is Chef Alain Devahive, whose exceptional expertise has been honed in some of the world’s most renowned Michelin-starred restaurants, including a decade-long tenure at Spain’s legendary elBulli Restaurant.

With Noa Lounge, Chef Alain and his team aim to showcase their culinary prowess, drawing inspiration from their rich cultural heritage and extensive travels throughout the Mediterranean.

“At Noa, we have embarked on an extraordinary culinary journey to discover the distinct identities of
various Mediterranean cuisines. We have immersed ourselves in the diverse flavours and techniques
that set each cuisine apart, while also exploring the harmonies that bring them together. Through this
exploration, we have captured the essence of each culinary tradition, allowing us to create a
gastronomic masterpiece that reflects our own language and style. It is our humble tribute to the
Mediterranean way.” said Chef Alain Devahive.

Flavourful feasting and dynamism in design

At Noa Lounge, the dining experience is a symphony of flavours and design. The menu is a celebration of the Mediterranean’s finest tastes, spices, and ingredients, with influences from Spain, Italy, France, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, and beyond. Dishes are crafted with fresh, colourful ingredients and a focus on herbs and spices, delivering bursts of flavour reminiscent of different Mediterranean regions.

Highlights on the menu include succulent Lamb “Kofta” meatballs, Barbecue salmon with “Chraimeh” sauce and “baba ganoush,” and the explosive Barcelona bombs. Each dish is a testament to the culinary mastery of Chef Alain and his team. The design of Noa Lounge, curated by Cristina Cela of Cris Cela Studio, reflects the Mediterranean’s essence. It seamlessly blends elements from various Mediterranean countries, evoking the elegance of French brasseries, the rustic charm of Italian trattorias, and the authenticity of Arabic-style lounges.

The colour palette mirrors the region’s landscapes, with warm browns, terrazzo, garnets, and ochres symbolizing the Mediterranean’s soil and sun. Hints of dark greens and delicate gold accents add sophistication to the ambience. Noa Lounge isn’t just about food; it’s about creating a unique atmosphere, a sensation that transports guests to the heart of the Mediterranean. The 4.5-meter-tall bar stands as a social centrepiece, inviting conversations and meetings throughout the day and night.

Noa Lounge is set to redefine the Singapore dining scene, offering patrons an unparalleled Mediterranean experience that tantalizes the taste buds and immerses them in the region’s rich culture. Mark your calendars for August 30, 2023, and prepare to embark on a culinary journey like no other. For updates, follow @noalounge.singapore on Instagram.
