In a remarkable fusion of lifestyle and technology, Singapore’s Changi Airport is welcoming three new robot baristas, further enhancing its reputation for innovation and exceptional passenger experiences. Ella, the first fully autonomous AI-powered barista by Crown Digital, is taking centre stage, ready to cater to the caffeine cravings of travellers passing through Terminal 2 and Terminal 3’s Departure Transit Halls.

This introduction signifies a bold step towards offering passengers and airport staff 24/7 access to artisanal, high-quality coffee. Ella, with her advanced technology and diverse coffee menu, represents the embodiment of convenience and innovation in the post-COVID digital-first world.
A coffee revolution takes flight
Ella’s arrival at Changi Airport marks a significant expansion of her presence in Singapore, bringing the total number of Ella machines on the island to seven.
With Ella on board, passengers and staff can relish an array of coffee choices, all brewed to perfection with premium Buscaglione beans and accompanied by an impressive range of milk and dairy alternatives, including the popular oat milk. However, what makes Ella’s offering at Changi Airport truly unique is the exclusive Pandan Tea Latte, a comforting and distinctively Singaporean twist on the traditional coffee experience.

Keith Tan, CEO and Founder of Crown Digital spoke passionately about Ella’s role, saying, “Ella represents the convergence of cutting-edge technology and exceptional coffee experiences. With the deployment of Ella across Changi Airport transit terminals, we are strategically positioning ourselves to cater to the needs of time-conscious passengers, providing them with a convenient and quick way to enjoy their favourite coffee.”
“Our aim has always been to revolutionize the coffee industry and redefine the way people experience their daily caffeine fix,” he added.
