Honey Rosetta Bread – Mother’s Day Bread Special

Instead of a bouquet of roses, gift mum a box of Honey Rosetta Bread ($4.50 each) to enjoy with her morning coffee or tea. Taking inspiration from the traditional Italian Rosetta White Bread, Da Paolo’s version is artfully shaped into a flower using a lamination technique and brushed with fragrant honey-rose-water syrup; and hence its name ‘Rosetta’.  

This bread starts with a sweet roll recipe enriched with more butter, milk, and eggs, and undergoes an overnight sourdough fermentation process before it is hand-shaped and baked. When the bread is fresh from the oven, it is brushed with warm honey-rose-water syrup and topped with a generous sprinkle of crunchy chopped pistachios and candied rose bits for an elegant finish.

Best enjoyed warm, the pillowy Honey Rosetta Bread boasts lovely floral notes. This special bake can be purchased online for delivery and self-pickup, or in-store from 6 May till 29 May, every Friday to Sunday.

This includes La Perla Chocolate Truffles in flavours of Pistachio and Salted Peanuts, La Perla Baci di Dama in flavours of Chocolate & Almond and Chocolate & Cocoa, two pieces each of the Cantucci Classici and Amaretti Croccantini.
