This September, get ready to party as we UNWIND at Raffles Place! Brought to you by Raffles Place Alliance, reimagine Singapore’s Central Business District as the Central Buzz District — a place of excitement, relaxation and play. Head down for a series of fun and exciting activities such as lunchtime giveaways, good food, live music performances, workshops and an outdoor movie screening, all held in the Raffles Place precinct from now till 3 September.

Here’s a preview of what you can expect each day!

Thursday, 1 September

It’s a terrific Thursday with us! Tune in to some old-school music and go back to the good ol’ days from 12 pm to 2 pm at CapitaSpring with OFFTHECLIFF – a talented singer-songwriter and event performer Cliff Lee. Best of all, you’ll get to indulge in complimentary Kacang Puteh as you chill, eat, and listen to an array of classic English, Mandarin, Hokkien and Cantonese songs performed by the talented singer!

Friday, 2 September

The fun begins this TGIF! Visit Raffles Place Park for music performances by OFFTHECLIFF from 12pm to 2pm, you’re sure to get grooving to his soothing acoustic songs and coolest album covers. From 5pm to 7pm, don’t miss on out Ralph Alvern – a R&B singer who just released his latest sultry single, “Don’t Want It”.

Get your dancing shoes for the next act: Choreographer and dancer Kyung Hoon will get you jamming to his coolest hip hop and freestyle moves! But don’t stop dancing, there are also funky beats by DJ Yuheng – a local music producer known for his remix and mixtape hits on Soundcloud – to look forward to.

Looking for love? You’ll be interested in one of the two 45-minute dating workshops held by FLEEK, an agency committed to helping one’s dating, professional and social skills. With limited spots, register here to participate in these sessions from 5 pm to 6.30 pm. Continue to lounge in the park — and maybe even put your newfound skills to the test — as the evening goes on with free ice cream and beer from VIBE.

Saturday, 3 September

Be part of a collaborative art installation, Flight of Flowering Feathers, made with recycled plastic by local eco-artist Didier Ng at Raffles Place Park. From 4pm to 6pm, join a fun upcycling workshop and care for nature as you get the opportunity to work with items such as factory rejects, almost brand-new materials, and household items to turn them into meaningful art. As spaces are limited, be sure to grab your spot here!

After the workshop, pick your perfect picnic spot in the park. Keep an eye out for pushcarts giving away refreshing drinks such as the EGA Immuno shots and beer by VIBE to quench your thirst!

Enjoy the treats and groove along to music performance from Fyrdauz Macbeth – a talented local artist who performs unplugged covers of popular hits. Catch his soothing vocals and fantastic acoustic guitar skills right here at the park. To top things off, enjoy an exhilarating and immersive performance of juggling and acrobats by Edwin Cirque, who also goes by the stage name, Mr Bee. Get ready to be awe-struck and defenceless with laughter!

When the sun sets, grab a #RPchair and free popcorn to enjoy a movie screening of WALL-E right in Raffles Place Park. As a Pixar-animated film, settle down your little ones as you chill and watch this family-friendly movie and ease into the night.
