Singapore Distillery expands portfolio with Merlion Vodka

0 0

Following the company’s launch with six unique gins, Singapore Distillery has expanded into the vodka category with their newest addition, Merlion Vodka.

Distilled from European Winter Wheat to produce the smoothest and purest vodka possible, the resulting product offers a light and crisp flavour profile that can be mixed beautifully or sipped neat. The spirit is distilled five times to produce a vodka that is “smooth as silk,” then diluted to 40% ABV to create the perfect balance with a clean taste and a light grain flavour on the tongue.

Merlion Vodka joins Singapore Distillery’s current range of six gins, including the London Dry-style Singa Gin, local favourite Coconut Pandan Gin, citrus-forward Lime Garden Gin, fruity and herbaceous Singapore Sling Gin, Bandung-inspired Stolen Roses Gin and cucumber-infused Kyuri Gin (each priced at S$69.90 / 750 ml).

Head Distiller, Ashwin Sekaran

Beginning their journey in 2017 with an eye on producing locally inspired gins, Head Distillery Ashwin Sekaran and his team have spent the last three years building their Ang Mo Kio-based distillery and developing their initial range of six perfectly balanced gins. The distillery was born out of an idea to make great spirits using Asia’s greatest resource – its diverse array of herbs and spices.

Singapore Distillery’s Merlion Vodka is available for purchase at singaporedistillery.com and select local retailers (S$49.90 / 750 ml).
