Festa Del Papa’ with Waterfall Ristorante Italiano
If your dad is one for hearty meals and lively celebrations, mark Festa Del Papa’ with an Italian meal from Waterfall Ristorante Italiano. The Father’s Day sets from Origin Grill, which feature quality beef and thoughtfully paired sides will appeal to dads who know their meats and appreciate a fine meal.
Start the meal with homemade soft rolls, sourdough and spiced grissini, served with anchovy herb butter and tomato pepper pesto. An Origin Green Salad with broccoli, avocado, edamame, rocket and kale on tahini, miso and ginger vinaigrette is sure to whet the appetite for the highlight of the meal – a Chargrilled Australian 300 Days Grain Fed Angus Black Market Striploin MBS 5 that is grilled and finished with rosemary and garlic, served with peppercorn sauce, red wine sauce and Origin BBQ sauce.

Thoughtfully designed cakes from Shophouse by Shangri-La
Latte for Dad
Drive any fatigue away with the Latte for Dad cake from Shophouse by Shangri-La, designed and carefully shaped to resemble a cup of coffee. Available in two variations where the cup is made of either white or dark chocolate, the Latte for Dad features Kahlua, Baileys, mascarpone mousse, vanilla bean chantilly cream and ladyfinger sponge to offer the familiar flavours of tiramisu.
The Kahlua is folded into the mascarpone mousse to add a kick of fragrant coffee within the cake, while the Baileys is added to the ladyfinger sponge which soaks up the liquor to form a flavourful treat. A touch of hazelnut streusel in the centre of the cups adds texture to these cakes that are a fun and delicious way to say “thanks a latte, dad!”.

Dad Fuel
Put a smile on dad’s face with the Dad Fuel, a tongue-in-cheek creation that features a mug of beer in the shape of a curvaceous bikini body, paired with a pair of fried chicken drumlets.
Beneath the creative appearance, both the beer mug and chicken drumlets are made of decadent chocolate butter cake with chocolate ganache. The foam on the beer mug is laboriously shaped with royal icing, while a coating of crunchy feuilletine flakes makes up the crispy skin of the chicken drumlets. Gift dad the best of both worlds with this cake that marries the appearance of some of his favourite treats with a delicious cake!

Super Dad
Last but not the least, give your superhero dad the recognition that he deserves with the Super Dad. As its name suggests, the superhero-inspired creation features a cape-donning chocolate figure atop a cake that has a glossy red hue that brings to mind dad’s inspiring strength and tenacity.
Accented with premium chocolate pieces, the cake is made of two layers of chocolate sponge and rich chocolate mousse and finished with the red glaze that has a slight cocoa flavour. Complete with the words “Super Dad”, this heartfelt treat will undoubtedly convey your appreciation for dad in a memorable way.
