Known for its wide array of sports gear and equipment, it’s a haven for anyone passionate about leading an active lifestyle. So, when we heard about Decathlon’s Circular Bazaar 2024, we knew we had to be there. Nestled within Decathlon Singapore Lab, Decathlon’s Circular Bazaar 2024 offered eco-conscious shopping, engaging activities, and educational opportunities. As we stepped into the venue over the Easter weekend, the air was charged with excitement, and we were ready to dive into the festivities.
With our girls in tow, we embarked on a journey that seamlessly intertwined fun and learning. The Bazaar’s lineup of free sport activities offered an abundance of choices for all ages. From cycling lessons for the little ones to Piloxing sessions for the adults, there was something for everyone. As our girls giggled with joy during their cycling lessons, we couldn’t help but marvel at Decathlon’s dedication to promoting active lifestyles from a young age.
But it wasn’t just about the physical activities; Decathlon’s Circular Bazaar 2024 also served as a platform for education, particularly in the realm of sustainability. Amidst the bustling booths and vibrant displays, we found ourselves immersed in discussions about recycling, upcycling, and reducing our carbon footprint. As advocates of sustainable living, we were thrilled to learn about this initiative, which allowed us to sell our preloved Decathlon bikes in exchange for a gift card. Moreover, the Second Life section offered a treasure trove of refurbished products at resellable conditions and lower prices. As we sifted through the items, our girls eagerly picked out their favorites, excited at the prospect of owning something new while being mindful of sustainability.

We attended informative sessions on road safety, where our girls absorbed valuable lessons on navigating the streets safely. It was empowering to see them grasp concepts like wearing helmets and using hand signals, equipping them with essential skills for their future adventures.
Furthermore, we participated in an upcycling workshop by Commenhers, where we learned creative ways to repurpose old textiles into new treasures. Armed with scissors and sewing kits, our girls enthusiastically transformed old t-shirts into reusable tote bags, their eyes sparkling with pride at their newfound crafting skills.
