Chaos, giggles and 4D thrills at Sentosa: Our first look at Chaos in Wonderland 4D

0 0

Last week, we went for the media preview of Sentosa 4D AdventureLand’s newest attraction, Chaos in Wonderland 4D, and what an afternoon it turned out to be. The moment the lights dimmed and the full 4D effects kicked in, my little one was so immersed that she got a tiny bit spooked. It was that realistic. Parents with young children, consider yourselves warned.

The intensity is fun, surprising and very multi sensory. But the best part is that there is something for everyone. My four year old made a full recovery and had the time of her life playing cowboy at Desperados right after. Nothing says adventure quite like watching your child ride a motion saddle, laser gun in hand, laughing her heart out.

And now, Sentosa 4D AdventureLand has officially expanded its line-up with something exciting for all ages.

Chaos in Wonderland 4D, the park’s first fully animated attraction

Launched on 27th November, Chaos in Wonderland 4D is the attraction’s first fully animated show, created to bring families on a fun and chaotic adventure filled with twists, magical mayhem and larger than life characters.

The new show follows Ed and Edda as they navigate a world where dinosaurs stomp, pirates battle and fairytale villains pop up when you least expect them. Every corner is designed to surprise you. Every scene is vivid and immersive. And every moment pulls you deeper into its animated universe.

What makes it truly come alive is the full suite of multi sensory effects, including striking visuals, dynamic sound, lighting, wind and motion, which build into an intense 4D experience for the whole family.

Dato A. Yogesvaran, Managing Director and CEO of Sentosa 4D AdventureLand, calls this launch a new chapter for the attraction, sharing that the show was created to deliver thrills, excitement and memories for guests of all ages.

More thrills at Imbiah lookout

Chaos in Wonderland 4D now joins the existing trio of attractions at Sentosa 4D AdventureLand, which means families can spend a full afternoon jumping from rides to interactive adventures.

Here is what else you can experience.

  • Haunted Mine Ride 4D
A motion simulation journey through an old, haunted gold mine that promises equal parts excitement and shivers.
  • Desperados
Asia’s first 4D interactive shoot out game where you ride a motion saddle and score as many bandits as you can with handheld laser guns. Both kids and adults were having a blast when we were there.
  • Extreme Log Ride
A high speed virtual roller coaster that takes you through ravines, valleys and mountain paths, all brought to life through motion simulation.

The attraction also accommodates different comfort levels. There is stationary seating for expectant mothers, seniors and guests with mobility needs, which ensures the whole family can enjoy the experience safely. Children below 90 cm can join Chaos in Wonderland 4D when seated on a parent’s lap.

Final Thoughts

If you are looking for something different to enjoy with kids, friends or even a brave date, Chaos in Wonderland 4D is a fun addition to Sentosa’s family attractions. It is chaotic in the best way, cinematic, full of surprises and filled with laughs and squeals at every turn. And if you have a little one like mine, they might get a tiny fright, only to declare their undying love for Desperados immediately after.

Sentosa 4D AdventureLand has created something memorable with this new experience and we cannot wait to go back for round two.
