- [From now to 29 October] Embark on the Japanese foodie adventure at NEX and ISETAN’s Momiji Matsuri Fair
Celebrate the beauty of the autumn harvest with an array of Japanese specialities such as Wagyu beef dishes, taiyaki, croquettes and more! NEX, in collaboration with ISETAN, introduces a delightful array of autumn flavours with its annual Momiji Matsuri Fair at NEX Atrium, Level 1. Shoppers can relish street food delicacies, refreshing sweet treats and premium fresh produce from 30 renowned Japanese brands.

For traditional Japanese confectionery, Monario’s Kumamon Ningyo Yaki with Sweet Potato Cream is produced in a kawaii ‘Kumamon’ shape and is sure to charm the hearts of the young and old. Look out for Honzukuri Warabimochi from Bashodo which is dusted with either soybean powder or matcha powder to give the dessert nutty or umami notes. Not to mention, Fruits CaféTOKIO presents a delicious Shine Muscat Crepe, a fresh cream crepe, generously adorned with Japanese Shine Muscat grapes and delicate whipped cream. Make sure to head down to NEX for a mouthwateringly good time at this year’s fair!

- [From now to 31 October] Be spooked with late-night chills and thrills at orchardgateway
Calling all thrill-seekers and spooky-lovers! This October, join Orchardgateway and The Blue Pocket for a spook-tacular adventure at their inaugural Halloween event – Gateway to Hell: Reliving the Gruesome 60s.
From now to 31 October, the iconic and vibrant mall will transform into a sinister haunt replete with an immersive haunted house set in 1960s Singapore, which includes a Virtual Reality gaming experience for courageous souls, a photo booth for participants to commemorate their trial, and walk away with a limited edition goodie bags after you’ve braved the terrifying scare maze! Is your heart prepared for this?
During this time, the haunted house experience will be open from 6.30 pm – 11.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays and 12 pm – 11.30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. On the much-anticipated Halloween weekend, 27 and 28 October, the haunted house will offer special extended hours from 12 pm all the way till 1 am! Ticket sales for the haunted house have now begun and can be purchased at gatewaytohell.eventbrite.com.
