Hi Friends,
A warm welcome to #theventmachine and thank you for your time. Now, before I begin with the #Baliblogseries, I want my readers to get a proper introduction of the ride.
Why a series and not just one blog?
This question came up several times and I would like to clarify here. After all, you people will be with me on this four-day journey and you have a right to know:) This series is going to be much more than just another travel blog.
When I was planning my trip, I read not one but many #balitourguides but trust me, they were not of much use. Yes, we all love beautiful pictures and insta-worthy posts but when planning a trip, a lot more than that is required. Besides, having worked with not one but many (leading) tourism companies as a content writer for over 5 years, I know that most of the content comes from rephrased Wikipedia and other stuff available on the internet.
Trust me, I have written pieces on Scotland and where not when I had not even gone to Shimla! As content writers, we try our best to keep the facts right and the content precise but we basically work as machines that are given a set of (million) rules, word limit, writing style blah blah; and we try to develop informative piece for readers. So, for a change, this is not one of those times. So, to hell with rules!Let us have some fun:)
Secondly, Bali is huge. When someone says that they have been to Bali, there are 76 per cent chances (random figure- read between the lines) that they have visited just a quarter of it. So, it is practically impossible to write a single piece as a #balitripblog.
This #Blogseries Will Cover Nusa Lembongan and Kuta
Now, I covered the southern islands, including Nusa Lembongan and Kuta. In the first part of the series, I will do two blogs that will cover all activities of Nusa Lembongan. Later, I will cover my adventures from Kuta.
