As the year draws to a close, Wisma Atria invites you to immerse yourself in a world of enchantment with their breathtaking Christmas installations. From November 16 to December 25, the mall transforms into a spectacular aquatic realm, paying homage to the iconic Wisma Atria Aquarium of yesteryears.
This year’s festive decor, a collaboration with the talented students from the Faculty of Design at LASALLE College of the Arts, promises to captivate your senses and ignite the wonder of the season.
Christmas installations: A journey into nostalgia
The Level 2 Outdoor Space hosts marine-themed Christmas installations, each a testament to the creative brilliance of LASALLE students. The top seven submissions, selected through an open call, showcase a nod to the former Wisma Atria Aquarium, invoking childhood memories and spontaneous connections. Bae Kyungsoo’s winning design takes inspiration from the Old Wisma Atria Aquarium, blending vibrant coral structures with traditional symbols of good fortune. The result is a visually captivating masterpiece that evokes feelings of peace, happiness, and love.
Collectible art and festive pop-up at Level 1 indoor atrium
The magic continues at the Level 1 Indoor Atrium, where local fashion meets collectable art toys. Curated by AMOS ANANDA, this Christmas pop-up features exclusive limited-edition collectable figurines and merchandise designed in collaboration with local artists. Don’t miss the chance to witness an exhibit of AMOS ANANDA’s upcoming porcelain collection – a perfect addition to your festive decor.
On December 9, from 3 pm to 5 pm, indulge in live art customization sessions with local artists. With a same-day purchase of $25 at the pop-up, snag your exclusively hand-painted pouch, mini canvas, or tote bag. And let the festive tunes take you away with live Christmas musical performances by Axel Brizzy & Band and Eden.
Give back and spread joy: Special events at Wisma Atria
For those who want to spread joy this season, visit the World Wide Fund for Nature (Singapore) Booth at the pop-up space curated by Wisma Atria. On December 15, join Kingdomcity at 7 pm and 8 pm for a live Christmas show, creating lasting memories with your loved ones.
