Celebrate the holidays with Pokémon and gourmet delights at Mount Faber Peak!
As the year draws to a close, Singapore Cable Car’s 50th-anniversary celebrations are in full swing, and they have something extraordinary in store for visitors this holiday season. In a delightful fusion of pop culture and festive cheer, Mount Faber Leisure Group (MFLG) is introducing a limited-time spectacle that is sure to bring smiles to the faces of Pokémon fans and cable car enthusiasts alike.
From November 1, 2023, until February 2024, the iconic red and white cable car cabins will transform into dazzling Pokémon-themed carriages, ready to whisk guests on a memorable journey of holiday magic.

I had the privilege of attending the media preview of the Singapore Cable Car’s enchanting Pokémon-themed celebration, and it was an experience I’ll cherish forever. Alongside my spirited 2.5-year-old daughter and my talented team member Ramya, accompanied by her enthusiastic 4-year-old son, we embarked on a journey filled with wonder and delight.

The event was nothing short of magical, and we couldn’t have asked for a more enchanting setting than a sunset ride on the Pokémon cable cars, with the breathtaking Sentosa skyline painting the horizon in shades of orange and pink.
Mr Buhdy Bok, Managing Director of MFLG, expressed the excitement surrounding this unique celebration, stating, “Through this campaign, we hope to provide our guests with a unique and memorable cable car experience that combines the joy of the festivities with the wonders of the Pokémon world.”
Step inside the Pokémon cabins
Embarking on a cable car ride has never been this enchanting. The entire fleet of 67 cabins on the Mount Faber Line will feature Pokémon characters dressed in festive outfits, complete with wreaths and mistletoes, spreading the holiday season’s joy.
But that’s not all; guests can now choose from five different Poké Ball designs inspired by the Pokémon universe, including the Great Ball, Ultra Ball, Master Ball, and Love Ball.
Capture the Pokémon holiday spirit
Visitors to Mount Faber Peak are in for a treat, with vintage cable car cabins showcasing beloved Pokémon such as Jigglypuff, Psyduck, and Snorlax. Take the perfect holiday snapshots with these adorable characters as your co-passengers, creating cherished memories with loved ones against the backdrop of Singapore’s stunning skyline.

But the Pokémon magic doesn’t stop there. An expansive festive photo wall featuring Pokémon from different regions, including Kanto, Galar, and Paldea, sets the stage for capturing memorable moments together. Whether you’re a Pokémon Trainer or just a fan of the franchise, this celebration promises to be an experience like no other.
Special offers for cable car rides
To make the experience even more accessible, guests can enjoy a 20% discount on online purchases of the Cable Car Sky Pass (Round Trip) starting from November 1, 2023. This pass covers a round trip on both the Mount Faber and Sentosa Lines and includes complimentary chips and a drink. For those who prefer purchasing over the counter, the regular price is $35, with an option to top up $10 for unlimited one-day rides on the cable car.
