The ice-cream of ice-creams teams up with ‘The Picasso of pastries’ to create an exquisite treat with a French touch.
In a unique collaboration between luxury ice cream maker Häagen-Dazs and world-renowned pastry chef Pierre Hermé, a new macaron ice cream range is hitting shelves in Singapore. Pierre Hermé is celebrated for his exquisite macarons and together with the iconic ice cream of Häagen-Dazs, a new era of magical indulgence is here.
’’The collaboration with Pierre Hermé is a perfect way of showcasing the true craftsmanship of our brands. We are both passionate about innovating and re-interpreting classic favourites and creating extraordinary experiences for our consumers. And what better way to do that than with a pure French “amour” taste experience? Don’t hold back is what we embody in everything we do and here we symbolise that with our macaron collaboration bringing alive Paris in a pint”, says Manuel Garabato, Häagen-Dazs Global Brand Director.
The result is the love story of ice cream and macaron with Parisian flair. Crunchy chewy mini macaron shells are added to the creamy ice cream, bringing the perfect balance of the dreamy taste of Häagen-Dazs with the Pierre Hermé macaron’s signature almond flavour.
“I am very excited and proud of our new collaboration. For the past twenty years, I have constantly been creating and reinterpreting my macaron recipes, which is my favourite creative terrain. My macarons are my identity so to put them in an ice cream I needed to work with the very best. Häagen-Dazs is just as passionate as me when it comes to quality, taste and crafting things in a new way so collaboration was established from the first bite”, said Pierre Hermé.
The range includes three different flavours of ice cream: Strawberry & Raspberry, Double Chocolate Ganache, and Yuzu & Lemon.
Head on a tastebud trip of a lifetime and dive into Häagen-Dazs x Pierre Hermé Strawberry & Raspberry, uniting the mastery of Häagen-Dazs and Pierre Hermé to reinterpret France’s most classic dessert in an exquisite pint. Indulge in fruity pools of raspberry sauce mixed with mini macaron shells, delicately balanced with the sweetness of strawberry ice cream. Strawberry & Raspberry is also available in stick bar format for a French delight on the go.
Chocolate lovers will surely enjoy the Häagen-Dazs x Pierre Hermé Double Chocolate Ganache. Scoop through the velvety smooth salted dark chocolate ganache swirled through Häagen-Dazs’ creamy chocolate ice cream, with mini macaron shells to create the ultimate moreish mouthful for a double chocolatey experience. Enjoy Double Chocolate Ganache in a full pint or mini cup format for the same delicious indulgence.
Lastly, the limited edition Häagen-Dazs x Pierre Hermé Yuzu & Lemon sees the soft creaminess of the classic scoop teaming together with swirls of tongue-tingling zesty lemon ice cream and a lemon and yuzu curd sauce for a delicious summer treat. To make each scoop even more superior, yellow mini macaron shells are also added to the mix to balance the zing of ice cream with classic almond flavour.
The Häagen-Dazs X Pierre Hermé 2023 collection will be available at all major supermarkets, hypermarkets, e-tailers and convenience stores from 15 May 2023, at the recommended retail price of S$14.65 for a pint, S$5.55 for a mini cup and S$6 for a stick bar. Strawberry & Raspberry and Double Chocolate Ganache are also available in a mini cup multipack of 4 (2 x Strawberry & Raspberry, 2 x Double Chocolate Ganache) for S$18.10. Yuzu & Lemon will be available for a limited time only, while stocks last.
Ice cream lovers will also be able to taste the exquisite new flavours at Häagen-Dazs shops, incorporated in the new Summer menu that is composed of unique ice cream creations created in collaboration with Pierre Hermé.
