On November 5, 2022, The ColiseumTM, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, Resorts WorldTM Sentosa will play host to GLOWHARD, the first hard dance festival in Singapore, presented by Soundstream. An alternative fusion of electronic dance music genres is introduced to Singapore’s music industry through the hard dance festival. Globally famous DJs like Darren Styles and Dimatik are included in this year’s outstanding lineup, along with local musicians who will be making their big local debuts.
In its first year, the Legacy Music Festival attracted 24,000 live attendees to Siloso Beach, with Tiesto, Zedd, Don Diablo, and Alok among the DJs headlining the event. After a three-year break from the pandemic, the celebration is back in full swing with a wide range of Hard House, Techno, and Hardcore musical styles.
Legacy GLOWHARD will present a variety of specifically crafted soundtracks with an infusion of Asian music influences into the electronic music genre, together with stunning user-interactive light displays made possible by Nebula, taking fans on a sensory journey.
Along with Australian hard dance tastemaker Dimatik and Singapore’s very own champion of the 2008 DMC World DJ Championships, Singapore DJ-producer Inquisitive, world-famous UK DJ and producer Darren Styles will perform on stage in Singapore for the first time. The festival will also highlight emerging local artists, like 24-year-old Atomix, one of Singapore’s newest self-taught hard dance music producers who just made his debut in 2019.
We’ve been anticipating the comeback of our music festivals since 2019. Suffering the whiplash from concert cancellations due to erratic restriction changes, music festival goers are now back with revenge and ready to party hard. With hard style gaining popularity across the globe, we have the privilege of introducing this new style of music to the Singapore scene through GLOWHARD. More importantly, we are here to create memorable experiences for music lovers of the new era,” shares Andrew Teo, Festival Director of Legacy Music Festival.
As official partners for the event, Carlsberg, Bounceback, and CardsPal, GLOWHARD has raised the stakes for this year’s music festivals as well. To top it off, Legacy and Soundstream have collaborated to introduce special NFTs throughout the festival that will give attendees access to promotions and premium music communities. The in-house event will host upcoming music festivals throughout the region, including Resurgence presents Ferry Corsten in Malaysia and Creamfields in Vietnam, with the support of Clubbing in Asia, AOS Collective, and AC Music Entertainment.
General Admission tickets for Legacy GLOWHARD are still available for S$78 and include one free Bounceback sleeve and a free drink, while VIP tickets cost S$138 and include two free drinks in addition to one free Bounceback sleeve.
