Ah Hoi’s Kitchen, JEN Singapore Tanglin by Shangri-La’s local zi char specialty restaurant, will reopen for dine-in experiences on Fridays and Saturdays (dinner only) from 4 September. Ah Hoi’s Kitchen has been serving authentic Singapore cuisine since 1996.

Fans of the longstanding establishment as well as diners seeking a scrumptious feast in quintessential Singapore style, can look forward to signature seafood dishes, family favourites and heritage local fare expertly prepared with quality ingredients.
Serving only the freshest seafood prepared with traditional recipes, Ah Hoi’s Kitchen has made a name for itself for its Sri Lankan Crab dishes, perfected with the culinary team’s unique Singapore Chilli Crab recipe that is redolent with wok hei. The meaty crustaceans are also available in updated renditions such as Salted Egg Crab with Crispy Yam, and Sarawakian Black Pepper Crab Other signature dishes featured on its elaborate a la carte menu include smoky Fried Black Pepper Kway Teow, Ah Hoi’s Kong Poh Chicken, Soft Shell Crab with Salted Egg and Poached Spinach with Conpoy and Trio Egg. Selections of classic local desserts such as Yam Paste, Ice Kacang and Durian Chendol complete the dining experience on a sweet note.
As part of its reopening, the restaurant is also introducing a new promotion – an à la carte buffet for dinner. Elevating the à la carte buffet are the restaurant’s best-selling dishes – Salted Egg Baby Lobster, Steamed Sea Perch, and Seafood Claypot Mee Tai Bak. Guests can indulge in unlimited servings of 40 popular Singaporean favourites including Crispy Fried Cereal Prawns, Honey Glazed Ginger Chicken, Hot Plate Beef with Black Pepper Sauce, rice and noodle dishes as well as desserts at $48++. Ah Hoi’s Kitchen re-opens for dinner only from 6pm to 10.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays from 4 September 2020. The a la carte buffet is only available from 4 September to 7 November 2020.
