As the sunny island ends the circuit breaker and enters the first phase of reopening, Singapore’s favourite convenience store 7-Eleven continues to offer great value with ease and convenience. To usher in the Dumpling Festival which falls on 25 June, 7-Eleven has partnered with household brand name Joo Chiat Kim Choo to open the pre-order of tasty halal-certified dumplings from 12 June to 19 June.
Thoughtfully handcrafted by Joo Chiat Kim Choo exclusively for 7-Eleven, these triangular rice snacks in Salted Chicken and Nonya Chicken flavours are bound to excite the taste buds and will also make a lovely gift for those with dietary restrictions.
Via pre-order, customers can ensure that they get to enjoy Joo Chiat Kim Choo’s signature delicacy hassle-free! Better still, these halal-certified treats will be available even after the festival. Satisfying and fuss-free, customers simply have to heat them up in a microwave oven or steam them.
From 12 June to 19 June, buy 4 and get 1 free for a minimum order of $12. To order, simply head to the nearest 7-Eleven store (full list of stores) with Kim Choo Kid dumplings stocked) and request for an order form from a 7-Eleven staff member. Pre-order closes on 19 June and the final day of self-collection is on the Festival itself, 25 June.
Also known as the Dragonboat Festival, 7-Eleven will celebrate by also giving away three Limited Edition LEGO Dragon Boat Race sets! To participate, shoppers simply have to purchase any Kim Choo Kid dumpling, scan the in-store QR code with their mobile phone, and fill out the form that shows up.
In partnership with social enterprise Tinkle Arts, miniature dumpling sets are also up for grabs. Mechanics will also be announced on 7-Eleven’s social media pages (Facebook and Instagram) so be sure to follow them!
