There are some media tastings where you walk in expecting a good meal and then there are those rare ones where you leave with a full heart. My visit to THREE. by Garamika’s brand-new Springleaf outlet turned out to be the latter.
Maybe it was the warm, wood-toned interiors, maybe it was the quiet charm of being surrounded by greenery, or maybe it was the fact that this restaurant is run by three young, fearless sisters who have built everything here from scratch. Whatever it was, the experience stayed with me long after the plates were cleared.
A restaurant built on heart and run by three sisters
Before I even get to the food, I have to mention this: THREE. is powered by three young founders- Gabrielle, Rachel and Mika, who started this journey when they were just 19–24. No F&B background. No investors. Just grit, creativity and a whole lot of sisterly love. Today, they manage operations, design, training, finances, socials- literally every moving part of the business.

That energy translates into the space. The Springleaf outlet feels personal, intentional and deeply rooted in their vision: peaceful mornings, heartfelt hospitality and Indonesian cuisine elevated without losing its soul.
Springleaf: A hidden gem for slow mornings
Nestled right beside Springleaf Nature Park and just a short walk from Springleaf MRT, the new outlet is exactly the kind of café-restaurant hybrid people in Singapore are always Googling for nature-facing, pet-friendly, breezy, spacious and perfect for families, cyclists and dog parents.
I arrived in the late morning, and for a moment, it almost felt like I wasn’t in Singapore. Soft sunlight filtered through the trees, the café smelled like freshly toasted spices, and every table carried a sense of quiet contentment. I instantly understood why this location has been such a strategic win for the brand.

Let’s talk about the food: The grilled chicken was my star
Now, to the important part: the food. And wow, this was the kind of Indonesian comfort that makes you want to close your eyes with every bite.

I tried several dishes, but the Grilled Chicken (Ayam Bakar) absolutely stole my heart. Smoky, juicy, perfectly charred and paired with that beautiful sweet-spicy glaze… I genuinely loved it. It’s one of those dishes that feels simple at first glance but surprises you with depth and balance once you take a bite.
Other signatures available at THREE. by Garamika, Springleaf include:
- Traditional Oxtail Soup
- Sambal Balado
- Gado Gado – loved this too by the way!
- Seasonal specials and community-centred tasting menus
At THREE. by Garamika (Springleaf), what I appreciated most was the respect for traditional flavours, paired with modern plating and a hospitality style that feels like stepping into an Indonesian rumah makan -warm, familiar, and utterly comforting.
A space made for community
THREE. by Garamika (Springleaf) seats up to 60 guests and is designed with the whole neighbourhood ecosystem in mind, cyclists stopping mid-trail, families grabbing lunch after a walk, dog parents settling in for coffee in the outdoor area.
The sisters have even started building a community via WhatsApp and Instagram, offering early-bird updates and exclusive perks. It’s refreshing to see a young, indie F&B brand so focused on growing roots rather than just expanding footprints.
Festive treats for December
THREE. also has their Christmas 2025 Specials open for pre-order, including:
- Santa’s Baked Box
- Rudolph’s Assorted Cookies
- Snowman’s Brownie Box
- Elves’ Feasting Platter
Handmade, less sugar, and great for gifting.

Final thoughts
If you’re looking for a new weekend spot, a nature-side brunch, or simply a comforting Indonesian meal served with sincerity, THREE. by Garamika at Springleaf deserves a place on your list. I went in for a tasting, but I left with a genuine appreciation for the story, the food and the drive behind this brand.
And truly, get the grilled chicken.
