If you ever needed a reason to look up and smile in Singapore, this is it. Last week, Divisha and I were invited to the launch of the Wiggle Wiggle in the Sky experience at the Singapore Flyer, and it was easily one of our most delightful outings in months. From larger-than-life bears to spring rolls with a view, here’s everything that made our day unforgettable.

A whirl of colours and giggles with Wiggle Wiggle at Singapore Flyer

As we approached the Flyer, Dishu squealed at the sight of a six-metre-tall Wiggle Bear and the equally adorable Little Play Bunny inflatable. These playful characters welcomed us into a world of vibrant colours and retro charm that define the Korean lifestyle brand, Wiggle Wiggle. From 23 May to 28 September 2025, five of the Singapore Flyer’s capsules are being transformed into themed wonderlands that soar 165 metres above the Marina Bay skyline.

Each capsule is a surprise: guests won’t know which of the five Wiggle Wiggle themes they’re stepping into until they board. Ours was a dreamy explosion of pastel tones, light-up mirrors, and oversized cartoon props. It wasn’t just a ride; it was an immersive visual experience that had Dishu spinning around in glee and me clicking a hundred photos.

As the capsule gently rotated through a full 30-minute cycle, we took in sweeping views of the city, surrounded by Wiggle Wiggle’s signature playfulness. Wiggle Wiggle capsules offer a ride unlike any other – they deliver a truly exclusive experience… each brimming with playful surprises and photo-worthy moments.

The Magic of Merli

Adding to the enchantment was Merli, the illustrated Merlion who acts as a whimsical guide throughout the experience. Young at heart and always up for adventure, Merli appears in capsule decor and themed merchandise, showcasing Singapore’s unique attractions through his playful persona.

Double the fun? Yes please!

If one ride isn’t enough, the Double Experience Ticket lets guests enjoy two separate rotations in two different Wiggle Wiggle capsules. Both the Single (S$50) and Double (S$90) tickets include discount vouchers (two or four S$10 vouchers depending on the ticket type), and a 50% discount on the second photo coupon purchase—because let’s face it, you’re going to want that extra pic.

Even boarding is elevated—literally. Unlike regular tickets, these allow guests to access the Flyer through the VIP Lounge, adding a luxurious touch to a whimsical day.

Don’t skip the shops

On the ground, the fun continues with two Wiggle Wiggle retail experiences:

There are also photo zones for Instagram-perfect shots and even a small mission guests can complete to receive a complimentary Wiggle Wiggle item.

Lunch with a view

After all the excitement, we made our way to Sky Pavilion for lunch, and it did not disappoint. Dishu devoured her egg fried rice (which she’s now declared her favourite), and I fell in love with their spring rolls—crispy, flavourful, and perfect after a fun-filled morning.

Plan your visit

Wiggle Wiggle in the Sky runs from 23 May to 28 September 2025, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily (last admission at 7:30 PM). Tickets are available via the Singapore Flyer website, WeChat Mini Program, ticketing kiosks, and counters.

Whether you’re 4 or 40, this isn’t just a ride—it’s a celebration of joy, creativity, and a little bit of magic in the sky. Dishu and I left with full hearts (and a bag of goodies) and already can’t wait to go again.
