Pink Ribbon Walk 2025 returns on 11 October at OCBC Square, Kallang, uniting communities to celebrate resilience, raise awareness, and champion the fight against breast cancer.

October in Singapore is always tinged with a touch of pink. It’s the month when communities come together to celebrate resilience, honour survivors, and remember loved ones lost to breast cancer. This year, the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) is once again inviting everyone to step forward, literally and symbolically, at the Pink Ribbon Walk 2025, happening on Saturday, 11 October at OCBC Square, Kallang.

Walking with purpose: Pink Ribbon Walk 2025

Carrying the theme “Stronger Together with Every Step”, this year’s edition isn’t just about clocking kilometres. It’s about solidarity. Breast cancer continues to be the most common cancer among women in Singapore, making up almost 30% of cases diagnosed. Early detection saves lives, and the walk doubles as both a powerful reminder and a public call to action for regular self-examinations and timely mammograms.

Participants can choose between scenic 3KM and 5KM routes, weaving past Singapore’s landmarks. Whether you’re walking for yourself, in support of someone you love, or in memory of those who have fought bravely, every step contributes to raising awareness and driving change.

More than just a walk

Pink Ribbon Walk has always been more than a one-day event—it’s a community-led movement. This year’s programme goes beyond the stroll with live performances, glow-in-the-dark face painting, henna art, bra pong, photobooths, and even best-dressed competitions. There are also goodie bags and giveaways for participants, making it a festive day out for families and friends alike.

For the third year running, the walk is presented by Income Insurance, reaffirming its commitment to preventive care and early detection. Meanwhile, PAssion Card returns as the official community partner, reinforcing the spirit of unity and collective support.

Join the movement

Registration for Pink Ribbon Walk 2025 is open until 10 September 2025, with special rates for BCF members, PAssion Card holders, and group sign-ups. Categories are open to all ages, though children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Why it matters

Since its founding in 1997, BCF has championed breast health through outreach, research, and support programmes. From psychosocial activities like Healing Through The Arts to subsidies for prostheses and bras, to Singapore’s first flagship Breast Cancer Centre, the foundation has consistently worked to ensure no one fights breast cancer alone.

Pink Ribbon Walk embodies that mission. It transforms awareness into action, ensuring the conversation around breast health doesn’t stop once October ends.

So, lace up your shoes, rally your loved ones, and be part of something bigger. On 11 October, every step will matter—and together, those steps could save lives.
