Celebrate Christmas at MO BAR with a series of guest shifts

Still figuring out your Christmas plans for the year? head to MO BAR at Mandarin Oriental and enjoy festive delicacies with your loved ones.

On 23 December (6-9 pm), MO BAR is running their Champagne and Oysters special with Monkey 47 to spotlight Brendon Khoo on the cocktail trolley preparing Monkey 47 Cocktails and MO BAR’s Asian Mulled Wine, made with Monkey 47 Gin, lemongrass, ginger, gula Melaka, kaffir, orange, lemon, grapefruit and dry white wine before being finished off with a spice blend of cardamom, anise, clove, cinnamon and nutmeg. Guests are welcomed to indulge in 90 minutes the free flow of “R” de Ruinart Champagne and Monkey 47 cocktails including 1 dozen of Oysters per person (S$78), with an option for an hour’s extension after including 6 oysters per person (S$48++).

On the night of Christmas Eve, 24 December (6-9 pm), MO BAR is partnering Ritz Carlton Millenia to star Ralph Salcedo, Bartender of Chihuly Lounge in a guest shift to showcase three Monkey 47 Cocktails at S$24++.

On Christmas Day, 25 December (6-9 pm), MO BAR is collaborating with Bombay Sapphire and Oxley to run a menu of a curated seafood platter with two gin cocktails at S$48++, followed by a Boxing Day special on 26 December (12-2:30 pm) to feature Mike Cheong with a Gin Trolley to bring the bar experience to tables.

Cocktails on both days include the Bombay Sapphire & TonicElderflower & Grapefruit Highball made with Oxley Gin, St Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Pink Grapefruit Juice and premium Tonic, the Winter Gimlet with Oxley Gin and Orange Bitters, the Gin Martini with a choice of Bombay Sapphire or Oxley Gin, Martini Dry Vermouth and Lemon Peel, the Negroni with a base of Bombay Sapphire, Martini Bitter and Martini Riserva Rubino and the Gibson with a choice of Bombay Sapphire or Oxley Gin mixed with Martini Dry Vermouth and Cocktail Onion.

MO BAR will also run its farewell shift on 27 December (6-10 pm) with Joshua Pang and Eduardo Zamora to feature their signature cocktails to end 2020 off on a high note.
