Singapore Brought Me Closer to My Heroes – How ‘Marvel’ous Is That?

“There was an idea to bring together a group of remarkable people… To see if we could become something more. So when they needed us, we could fight the battles that they never could…”

Who doesn’t love the Avengers? If you are in love with the MCU head over heels and can never get enough of these awesome heroes, Singapore is an awesome place to be. Those who live in LA and can afford visits to the real MCU studios, this is not for you. This is for people like me living in the APAC part of the world.

First, Singapore treated me with life size Thanos fists, as well as Hulk and Thor effigies when I went to watch the Avengers Infinity War at Imax Shaw in Orchard Road. Take a look-

Now, real Marvel fans do not go gaga about MCU only when a movie is around the corner. We swear to the comics and live by the principles of Marvel heroes. We watch, re-watch and binge watch movies, and use popular Marvel catchphrases in everyday life. That’s our secret, we are always hungry (for Marvel World).

Singapore understands this and hence it offers a Marvel 4D experience at Madame Tussauds. Yes, you read that right! Now, this 4D experience brings you real close to the heroes. You don’t only get a life-like smoking Captain America molded out of wax looking exactly like Chris Evans, but you get a real hands-on experience of the Iron Man suit! You see it, touch it and wear it! (Breathe…) You also get to “hang out” with Spiderman in his “friendly neighborhood”.

After this adrenaline-pumping and outof-the-world exciting experience, you are shown an awesome 4D anime film where you see (almost) all Avengers fighting the Devil and saving the world. This experience is more than cinema, it is a thrill ride! If you are in Singapore, you cannot miss this!
