The Sea on One Side

And a world of fantasy on the other

There is so much in this one moment

Serenity of the Indian ocean Calming my nerves

And excitement for fiction giving me an adrenaline gush
There are fishes here- many wandering in the sea – their home
Many trapped in the S.E.A. Aquarium for people to pay and look at

Ironic. Isn’t it?

Side by side float similar creatures.. Same species

Some by will and some against it
Singapore is a fascinating city

A unique amalgamation of what’s created and what’s built

It has the tranquil ocean – nature’s gift

And many Bays – all manmade
Universal – A universe blurring lines between fantasy and reality

The Merlion singing the saga of rich mythology
Today in this moment I think and feel a lot

I am at peace and I am excited

I am tired but zealous to explore further

I am happy but agitated
