LIFE GOES ON!

You came into my life

As soul mates we thrived

Your embrace touched my soul

‘You and I’ was my goal

I loved you, you loved me back

I felt my life had no lack

We cherished our love divine

Everything was perfectly fine

Alas! Came a catastrophic storm!

Life was in pieces torn!

You said, “Love, It didn’t work”

Hah! My fate, what a jerk!

You left me to suffer, solitary

I tried by frown and by plea

To stop you, but all in vain

You left, you never came back again!

Till date my eyes are waiting

Desperate, love thirsty, not letting

Me to live, or love or ‘move-on’

But as they, “life goes on”…
